Let Nature Live

From the largest predator to the tiniest bacterium, every organism plays a role in our ecosystem. The more species there are, the more resilient the ecosystem becomes. Therefore, biodiversity is essential. Also for us humans. But deforestation, pollution and climate change pose a threat to biodiversity.

Small changes can make a big difference. For Natuurmonumenten, we designed and developed a game that teaches children how they can help nature through 10 mini-games. They catch raindrops in a rain barrel, flip pavement tiles to create blooming paths, launch seed bombs at concrete targets with a catapult to grow flower beds, and build a warm, leafy home for a hedgehog.

Children can complete missions together, simultaneously, with their parents or on their own. Each game challenges players with insight, speed, and dexterity. After completing a mission, they receive a short explanation about how their action helped nature. For instance, did you know that off-leash dogs can threaten wildlife and grazing animals, cause stress or injuries, and disrupt their habitats?
