Living Tech Gallery

The Living Tech Gallery at the Hong Kong Science Museum reveals how technology can make life better, whether it’s the way we get around in the city, design our homes, or decide what’s on our plates.

This exhibition features around 20 interactive exhibits, each demonstrating how technology can create more convenient, eco-friendly, and sustainable ways of living. Visitors are invited to dive in, with hands-on experiences designed to inspire curiosity about the role of technology in everyday life.

Step into the future with autonomous driving simulations, uncover the endless possibilities of the Internet of Things, and explore innovative railway technologies from MTR to see how smart systems make journeys safer and smoother. Learn about renewable energy solutions that bring modern homes in line with sustainable living principles, and rethink the future possibilities of sustainable diets. A standout highlight is the iconic DC-3 aeroplane ‘Betsy’, offering a fascinating glimpse into the evolution of flight technologies.

The Living Tech Gallery shows that real transformation starts with everyday choices and that the future is already nearer than we think.
