Airborne Museum Hartenstein
War Stories
The permanent exhibition at the Airborne Museum Hartenstein, gives a day-by-day account of what happened during the Battle of Arnhem.
From the airborne landings on the heath to the evacuation across the Rhine. Through photographs, texts, objects, and audiovisual material, visitors can discover what both soldiers and civilians experienced in September 1944. The museum's brand new audio tour was voiced by well-known historians and writers including Ad van Liempt and Antony Beevor. Especially for the young visitor we produced stories as part of a treasure hunt together with Dutch vlogger Boris Lange.
